Very flexible, you can work from home as long as you get the work done. Friendly colleagues and people get on well. Big company, so you always have a chance of some interesting work.
Cons
Bad project management systems (clunky, over the top). Pretty incompetent senior and middle managers. Wonder how some people have arrived at their lofty positions. People are definitely not their greatest asset.
The colleagues that I met at Jacobs were all very nice and most are fairly good at what they do.
Cons
The company shuffle you like sardines in a box and move you to new offices when ever one project ends and you are fortunate enough to get on to another assignment. There are extreme favoritism by the management.regardless of your skills or qualifications or the results you delivered. This is extremely demoralizing. There is zero manager to employee feedback during the year and only on your performance review do you get a sense on how well or how poorly you've done in management's eyes. This typically is more subjective than objective and even when you've done significantly more than what the position calls for, you will be rated average.
