Pros

Flexibility in allowing Summer (seasonal) employees to work but still have the opportunity to take a little vacation, especially if they have children.

Cons

The upper level supervisors do not take what we, as a staff, recommend about the program to change or allow the children to have more fun.

Pros

It's not a bad place to work for as a whole. It depends on which department you are employed with.

Cons

Lack of ability to move up. Those making decisions tend to forget about the little people. The board of supervisors is just a mess.

Meet lots of new people, plenty of opportunities to network outside of the job you hold. Opportunities for advancement are given to employees first.

Cons

Middle management is a little messy. Don't always know what they're doing, so they don't instill a lot of confidence and often make you feel like you've been left hanging in the lurch with patrons. Not the most dependable.
