Pros

Every single person there is amazing. They are so awesome with time off and being late or leaving early. It's also 4-10s with different shifts (days, swings, graveyard) and 3-12s for weekends. An amazing starter for the pay, and you don't need experience for the beginner positions.

Cons

Not much room to climb the ladder. There are multiple people who have been doing the same job as me for 15-20 years still making equivalent to what I am starting out with no experience.

Lots of opportunity for leadership and management is given to new employees. Great resources to learn the required software, processes, and design practices are available. Hands on work is common and encouraged for new engineers. The company cares about its employees.

Cons

The fact that the company is not publicly traded limits the financing they can receive and therefore limits pay and other forms of compensation.
