Pros

Perfect timing in the market. Janrain has true market leadership. Great product, suited for both cyber and marketing use cases. Very performant, ideal for IoT. Independent and cloud first, competitors are either mid-market or now part of a monolith. Strong executive leadership in Engineering, Product, Sales, CEO and EU.

Cons

Teams are overly silioed, not enough cross functional opportunities.

Pros

Janrain has/had an amazing culture. The product was ever-changing and evolving.

Cons

The culture kept diminishing as more (and more, and MORE) VP's were hired despite understaffed teams. The product adds new functionality every month it seems. Becoming more of a security company due to the CIAM space (not necessarily a con). Salaries on the low-end for the market with limited opportunity for raises.
