      Pros

      While I worked here, the Engineering team and output was unmatched. There were so many incredibly talented people, who are are willing to lend a hand to help. I've spent several hours at a desk with coworkers just dissecting a code section to see if I've got it right and can argue the AHJ towards my point of view. In addition to the great people, Jensen Hughes had dizzying variety of projects to work on. The type and clients are all over the place, but in a good way

      Cons

      As noted by my leave date, I left right around when several of the big mergers happened. i was not the only person to leave and the lack of retention was demoralizing. An incredible emphasis on utilization, to the detriment of worker's well-being at times. Sometimes extended hours would be compensated/appreciated sometimes you were told to suck it up and deal. An expectation that all the engineers/consultants would double as sales people.

Great coworkers and a wide variety of projects are two of the main perks of working at JH, so we’re glad you got to experience both during your time here. Please know retention is a primary focus area for us as we are nothing without our experts. Also, although our business runs on the seller-doer model, we realize the importance of a solid BD team, which is why we just brought in a new Chief Commercial Officer who we are confident will drive our BD efforts.       Pros

      A great place to develop technical skills and work on complicated engineering projects around the world. The opportunity to work with the best fire engineers in the world. Recent acquisitions have introduced new service lines which allow for interesting collaborations. Dynamic environment, every role makes an impact and contributes to the success of the organization.

      Cons

      You need to be happy with a fast paced environment. Lot of freedom to manage your time, but you need to be effective and productive to be successful here.
