Pros

Truly the global leader. Best engineers in the biz and very capable leadership team. The client list and amount of repeat work is best in class. The culture is generally positive.

Cons

Vocal minority of tenured legacy folks (mostly engineers in operating roles) just won’t stop complaining and thwarting progress. They came from smaller companies where they could thrive by riding the coattails of the previous owners.

Pros

Leadership committed to transparent communications and very approachable. Local Ops leaders empowered to run the business and make day to day decisions, collegial working environment. Regional structure has brought the people together and reduced silos. DEI focus and commitment has been for real and it has made a positive impact.

Cons

Compensation and bonuses were better this year but there is plenty of room for improvement. Investment in better tools and systems is needed if JH wants to remain the industry leader.

We appreciate your comments! Over the last few years we have made significant changes to the organization beginning with establishing our Purpose + Principles that drive everything we do. We have been intentional about the changes we’ve implemented and are thrilled to hear the shifts are having a positive impact on our staff. We are committed to offering competitive total compensation to our employees and have made meaningful adjustments over the last year. However, we realize this is an area we must monitor closely and take action on, especially in our current market.
