Pros

The flexible schedule that is offered helps a lot if you're a student. They work around your schedule and it also allows time for you to get your school work done.

Cons

Pay. When I started working at Jewel, I was getting 20-30 hours a week. Now I'm only getting my minimum of 12. People who have been there a year longer make time and a half because they were hired under the old union contract, I only make an extra dollar on Sundays and Holidays. They recently changed the dress code and are requiring us to get new pants and shows and they cut the associate discount without warning. How am I supposed to afford all of this?
