      Pros

      great benefits for 12 hours per week.Blue cross Blue Shield, Dental, Vision,Disability and life insurance if you so choose to opt in.Flexible scheduling if you have seniority

      Cons

      Pay is low and because of poor union bargaining, raises are few and far between. Managers are ill trained and practice double standards with workstaff.

      Pros

      The best things is the pay starting off for only working in a grocery store. It starts at 38,000 for just training. And it's basically training in each department getting you familiar with the store so you can one day be a store director.

      Cons

      The most challenging is working so hard and not having enough help or time to get it done. Or being okay with doing the same thing everyday

      Pros

      You get a discount card, which includes 5% off all items and 10% off Jewel Brand items. In my current position, I work on the floor, so I do not need to be accounted for at all times, so I am free to take my break/lunch whenever I please. Very friendly environment between co-workers, however upper management is not very friendly.

      Cons

      Inconsistent hours, poor management, and I was not provided with training that would later cause me not to get a promotion. Working all major holidays with overwhelming amounts of customers can be very frustrating. Upper management has high expectations from a small group of people.
