Pros

Fast pace, good work hours for miniwage job, Manager did a good job in working with student and class schedule.

Cons

The phone can frustrating to answer either dealing with anger customers that are out of delivery range or having a hard time taking orders with loud music and employees talking at the same time.

Pros

Everyone at Jimmy John's works really hard. The company is very competitive and up and coming. Management opportunity is available and can be obtained quickly. Managers give feedback and are quick to help out with anything that you need. Managers work just as hard, if not more than regular employees. They will do the dirty jobs as well. They wouldn't ask you to do anything they wouldn't do themselves.

Cons

Low pay, no breaks, no sick days, and late hours. JJ's is a rough place to work if you don't like working really hard. If you lack a strong work ethic stay away. You can work up to 12 hour shifts with only about a 10 minute break to eat. Working up until 5 am with the same minimum pay. Don't even think about calling in sick. Unless you're in the hospital your going to work. Very few benifits even for management. You are expected to work a lot for minor compensation. Very poor customer service and super strict corporate policies.

Pros

Best reason to work at Jimmy John's is the fun factor. Each day was different and always presented a challenge when it came to predicting the amount of bread to bake or when to cut labor at the proper time.

Cons

Although it is a great place to work, the compensation is very low. If looking for a career and a salary to raise a family on, a GM position is the next step, but requires 55+ plus hours of work a week.
