      Pros

      The technology from motor, aircraft, and battery design is a marvel. The company is highly vertically integrated. The team is highly skilled and comes from prominent industry experience. Access to some great lab equipment onsite to complete the work. Overall good team structure and mentality. JOBY has an exciting mission.

      Cons

      Work life balance can be stressful, especially during crunch periods. Agile and Iterative design work is necessary, but can at times be a pain point.

      Pros

      Loved working at Joby. Started when it was small startup. Founding team and JoeBen are genuinely trying to create an amazing company culture centered on personal integrity. They believe you'll do what you say and work had if you're given the tools to do that. This is the best place I've worked in my career by far.

      Cons

      With growth Joby has been losing site of it's roots. Certain departments have a workaholic, work culture based more on perception. Go in knowing that if you do what you need to support yourself and get that work done then you'll be seen and recognized for that. Also, it's hard to scale a culture of personal responsibility.
