      Making some headway on upgrading executive leadership

      Cons

      Lack overarching corporate strategy (sill need to figure what kind of portfolio company they are, and want to be) Buy distressed companies and then don't invest to improve Whipsaw employees - hire then RIF within a year, standard model for past 3 years Extremely weak HR and Talent Acquisition resources and capabilities ( jobs posted but actually on hold or canceled) Does not invest in people development at the at the level that moves the needle on stable growth and profitability

      Large corporation with many resources.

      Cons

      Large corporation that neglects their ground level employees while chasing profit. The name of the game is restructure, acquire, restructure...it doesn't seem like this is a company with very good direction or vision of where they are headed.
