Pros

Salary + bonus are good for the Midwest region.

Cons

Tyco has taken over the leadership of Johnson Controls (post-merger). The Tyco CIO's strategy is based upon a decentralized, keep-the-lights-on minimum investment It approach with over 100 ERP legacy systems and thousands of other applications.

Pros

I had autonomy and was allowed to do my job.

Cons

When the decision was made to spin off it's automotive business, everything about JCI changed. And it's been constant change ever since. Now with the merger with Tyco, org changes are being kept under wraps causing constant anxiety for everyone.

Pros

Commitment to on-going education, be it supporting formal education, technical training, or certifications.

Cons

Culture varies widely from region to region and branch to branch. This can be a good or bad thing.
