      Pros

      JCI has great products. From the Building Efficiency side it truly is a one stop shop for the customers. HVAC equipment and controls to installations and services. Technology is top of the game. It has the potential to be a great company. Training is good and there is a strong emphasis on safety.

      Cons

      The company has no clear vision on where it wants to go. There are so many changes every year within the company, locally you couldn't possibly move forward with any business plan. Management and sales change like the seasons. One of the number one customer frustrations. They don't see the same person twice.

      Pros

      I-phones everything is done throught the phone , quotes , work orders , dispatch , it is a great tool. Safety oriented .

      Cons

      cutting customers PMs that they have paid for to make your monthly budgets , cutting techs hours and their work orders to make monthly budgets .Work is sink or swim , apprentiship is belts and filters , internal fighting over hours , customer complaints not addressed ,

      Pros

      About 10-15 years ago it was first York then Johnson controls took over...Was a great company and great management team. Helped you to advance. Pay was good. Cared about their employees.

      Cons

      Big changes going on and many layoffs especially in Northeast. Old and new employees beware! Start looking and interviewing so you won't be caught with your pants down like some of us did! No loyalty...you are just a name with a dollar amount next to it. Companies beware...Will get rid of knowledgeable experienced employees and hires apprentices to save money but overcharges you for the job.
