Awful poor management. Team lead by DL and SF made life hell. Witnessed DL make an employee cry. Too many useless interviews and trying to rush a process and bother clients so we met their PnL targets. SF called a 5 min meeting to shout at me for not getting a PO in when I was supposed too apparently.

In September 2023, Johnson Controls was hit by a ransomware attack that resulted in data theft and disruption to its internal IT infrastructure, costing the company $27 million to respond and remediate. It is a security company with government contracts and couldn't even protect itself. A few days later, I was laid off - I had not even been there 1 year. (The manager who hired me was laid off 4 months after I started. ) The manager that I reported to was not even professional enough to tell me to my face as he and a HR person laid me off on a conference call.
