Pros

Compensation good, some positive people, increase number of new JCI employees which bring new positive ideas and solutions to the organisation and good company benifits.

Cons

-Core structure of company leadership is the key issue toward it's present and future performance -Intergration of York into the JCI organization a few years ago was not planed properly and has caused some major issue and concerns with JCI long term global customers. -Preperation of local branch management to succefully drive the company forward and show customers that JCI are the leading organization has not been the focus of the corporate leaders -No uniformaty of processes or procedure in the organization -Extreamly poor communication of leadership within JCI which has been a major issue in the branch leavel. -For such a large company there no real measurement of anything towards continues improvement process other then profit -Milwalkee Management are not open to new approches from employees who have had experiance and opportunities from other large succesful companies. -Corporate leadership has a large number of employees that have only been with one company (JCI) for their careers and do not want to rock the boat to improve the culture. -Local branch cultures towards corporate JCI are very poor and branch managers are being used by the local unions which inturn efficting customer service with are long term global customers. Conculding that JCI is a company that it's leadership need to getout and communicate to their customers and seek the truth about themselfs. This is a first step to success is to truly know what your falts are...... but as Jack Nichelson said in one of his role " You can't handle the TRUTH!!!!!!!"

Pros

- Good Salary to start with. - Good Health & Benefits plans. - Good as a start for someone who needs a solid base to move to a better career in the near future.

Cons

- There is a "Glass Ceiling" for people from different background. - Qualifications do not mean anything, because it is matter of "Who You Know, NOT What You Know"......!, that was the hiring process for the last few years. - You should plan a short term working with JCI, otherwise you will stuck at the same level forever. - No salary increase for the last three years. - Cutting lots of benefits from the lower level, however the upper level still enjoying the same benefits; such shirts and T-Shirts. - Cutting all kinds of vacations, sick-leaves, and emergency time off from the lower levels. - It is normal to see someone with MBA, Six Sigma, SAP and PMP certificates and working online because of the different culture and does not no someone inside,
