Pros

- Work according to your availability - Supervisor (at least mine) is very approachable and easy to work with

Cons

- $12/hr. Pay could be a tad higher - You may not have a lot of students at the beginning of the school year, but that easily change during mid-terms

Pros

It was great how flexible the hours can be each week. Being employed by the company versus the family meant I was always paid on time and in full. It was great that there was some accountability and if a family ended I was able to jump right back to on-call to get full-time work

Cons

If I wanted full-time work I needed to be willing to travel anywhere in the Bay Area including a 2.5 hour commute to the South Bay and San Francisco. There were slow weeks and sometimes on-call work would be around 20 hours.
