Pros

Jump operates on a flat management structure and team oriented basis. My experience with leadership is that they were the hardest workers in the company and also some of the most kind. They value hard work, are open to new ideas, and promote a positive work environment. Compensation and benefits were extremely generous. Employees were given ample time off, extremely good benefits, and opportunities for advancement and lateral moves within the company.

Cons

Technical orientation in any field creates the opportunity to rely on technical skill sets as opposed to practical understanding of underlying mechanics and fundamentals.

Cutting edge technology, great benefits, good location. A good place to get your start in the high-frequency/low latency trading world.

Cons

Becoming very corporate and bogged down. Support from above leaves a lot to be desired. Extremely secretive trading floor. Lack of upper management competence.
