Pros

It was a positive environment, people seemed to get along well. Management as well as my colleagues took on a mentorship role with me, which I appreciated. I learned a lot in the time I was there

Cons

They have not been growing as rapidly as expected and recently got a new CFO. Budgets are tight and they've been through layoffs and from what I understand they anticipate more.

Pros

K12 provides the ability to work from home with fairly flexible schedules. The work is very interesting with some very top notch subject matter experts.

Cons

Senior and Executive management do not realize or appreciate that the greatest asset at K12 is its people. These folks are making millions off K12 but are not rewarding the people who helped make it happen. Several folks have been there from the beginning and all they got after 10 years of dedication to the company was a lousy jersey with their name on it and the number 10. There is no opportunity for advancement and salaries are well below market value.
