      Salary (but it comes at a price)

      This is where ineptitude meets with inertia and Machiavellianism. Those in management are too focused on looking good instead of producing quality products and services. The entire department was busy pretending to be busy instead of delivering by deadlines and/or work together cohesively to build any real synergy. Management wouldn't even try to lead or manage staff. Instead--their backs to the group in their corner offices--these managers spoke in vague terms and analogies to try to appear competent and busy, all the while other more alarming behavior goes unchecked and even dismissed in the quest to appear proficient.

      Sending engineering work to India.

      Pros

      It's hard to find any pros these days. Zero harm or KBR cares maybe...just being sarcastic about their slogans which is lips service at best!

      Cons

      US based engineering departments have little work to go around and yet executives force all levels of management to send work to cheaper places such as India. Quality of work from India is horrible and I am sure some of the clients won't come by to KBR because if the poor deliverables.
