      Steadily Getting Worse

      Pros

      Lower levels of management are strong Corporate culture for maintaining work/life balance is strong Benefits are stronger than average market

      Cons

      Poor Communication from Upper Management Year over year pool for raises continues to shrink (50% reduction in available funds for 2026 increases) while CEO sends out emails extolling how well the company is doing financially. Pay ranges for trying to bring new hires onboard are wildly out of line with market conditions in most areas of the US

      Solid job, normal benefits, but feel a little left out on JSC campus, not a lot of career growth on contracts.

      Pros

      Normal benefits, good communication from management, and pretty good job security

      Cons

      If you work as a contractor for a government agency (e.g. NASA), probably won't have a lot of visibility to KBR directly and job growth is directly tied to when older employees leave. There is a little flexibility to move around laterally, but not a lot to move upwards.

      Pros

      My division was purchased by KBR, so it is probably not representative of the company in other locations.

      Cons

      KBR's business is apparently running overseas military bases with cooks and electrical power generation. Our division did systems engineering for the Government. Our benefits were eroded because they don't generally give cooks the same types of 401K and medical plans.
