      Company cares about you but pay is low

      Pros

      The company really cares about its employees. For a time-period the work was very stressful but after employee feedback the manager reduced the workload and appreciated the hard work. The company provides good resources for growth and is a place where one can make a career. Having worked at top tech firms and toxic environments I can say this place is a place to retire.

      Cons

      The pay is far lower. The stocks for same position at Apple would be a minimum of $200K (10x) times here. However I for now prefer to have work life balance. The area is very specific and unless you really enjoy it it's not a place to be in.

      Pros

      good salary in Taiwan. As long as you finish your work, you can go off early.

      Cons

      Sometimes you need to reply e-mail at home, even on holiday
