      Some very intelligent and dedicated people

      CIO is all talk and all about self promotion Other CIOs are more strategic, and have implemented greater technologies Focused on his own career and sponsors initiatives that will help him move on to his next role Makes decisions based on his ideas and views and then changes his tune when his decisions are not working Has surrounded himself with a bunch of 'yes' men who cannot get a job elsewhere Does not take advice or input, but blames others when his strategies fail Recycles people from the business that are at a dead-end Has created a disfunctional IT organization
