      Access to new technologies Some of the top engineers in the industry

      Cons

      Upper mangement's is extremely naive to the industry that they work in not everything is a widget Constantly trying to dumb down the issue thinking in absolutes Bullying tactics enjoyment of making employees scared afraid Better not stutter or slip during a presentation or you will get eaten alive Short term thinking "what have you done for me lately Give up your personal life average around 60-80 hours a week before working weekends

      Pros

      - Some of the people I worked with were highly competent but they are few and far between - Poor quality management will serve as a reference point for when you leave for that better job

      Cons

      - The quality of the management here in IT is really poor. It's also a small boys club that you do not want to join - Several individuals have come across into IT from the business and they are universally poor to deal with. - Ineffective CIO who absolutely no one thinks highly of - Having to work with people who show little drive, ambition or are extremely demotivated - Demotivated workforce who have been here for far too long - Increased emphasis on outsourcing
