Pros

Some products are the best in their field. Opportunity to travel (can be good or bad, depending on your perspective). Pretty good pay, with an annual bonus program. Managers do very well.

Cons

Below average benefits compared to other similar companies Below average corporate image and community involvement (charity matching gift program is rarely enabled and is chintzy anyway; very little sponsorship of community arts or charity events) Little attention paid to career development; this is is such a specialized industry that experience here may not be applicable anywhere else.

Great company that lost its way

Great technology. Great process discipline. Some very good people to work with and learn from.

Cons

Company expanded broadly and diluted itself badly. Stock price and valuation have suffered badly. The company is worth much less than 10 years ago and yet trying to do so much more.
