Pay and benefits are competitive, and are probably keeping majority of the staff here. My department is flexible with hours, have the option to use PTO here and there as needed. However many people take advantage.

Cons

It is embarrassing to work for a company that cannot pay it's vendors, suppliers, and other companies that are vital to the safety of patients. A profound lack of medical specialties creates a liability for any critical patient unfortunate enough to end up in our ER. Many staff are new grads or jaded, and do not provide high-quality care. Openly mocking the patients they work with. Morale is very poor, with constant whispers of lay-offs and the company going under.
