1.Its more of a local Maharashtrian company than of a national, leave alone global company. People who are non locals tend to find it difficult interacting because the local language is used too often during team meetings, etc 2. Still doesn't have an impact on a national scale because I suppose its more recognised as a company for the Maratha Manoos. 3. Those relocating, be wary of the HR because they spell out very less details on the cost of relocating during interviews 4. During 2011-12, the acquisition of Sparta was still not felt in reality though Sparta was acquired way back in 2009. Looked as if Sparta dictated terms wrt processes, certain decisions, etc. Differences persisted, but not sure now.
