Pros

If you're young and want to grind hours to get a name on your resume, it's a decent place to do that.

Cons

Very political and bureaucratic. Promotion requirements are applied arbitrarily. Pay is below market. Firm thinks much more highly of itself than is warranted. They try to maintain a veneer of transparency but it's only for show.

Pros

Good training and mentoring at KPMG. It's clear how you will move up in the company and you know where your career is going. Flexibility has been great and the PTO is amazing. People are a awesome as always.

Cons

Long hours and a lot of work for not enough pay. KPMG is losing employees because they aren't willing to increase pay.
