Pros

5 weeks PTO first year, good benefits, will learn a ton in a short period of time.

Cons

Hours, hours, hours. "Busy season" is 9 months out of the year. During that time expect to be at work a minimum of 55 hours per week up to 100 hours, with the most common being 70 to 80 hours.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

The management consulting group that I was part of cared very little about the clients that we worked with. They also care very little about their employees. I have never worked anywhere like that where people leave in droves almost quicker than KPMG can replace them.

Pros

Good training, salary, vacation. In general, lots of very smart colleagues. Some good pockets, which is key to survival.

Cons

Poor team leadership is the norm in some areas. Duplicitious management must be part of the exec. Training program in some groups though not all. The backbiting is pretty vicious.
