Pros

The experience is top rate. You cannot get better experience anywhere else except for the Big 4. All Big 4 are roughly the same though.

Cons

The pay is a joke. KPMG is the worst of the Big 4 as far as I can see in talking with classmates who work at other firms. Even local firms make more than KPMG.

Pros

Great exposure/experience Smart co-workers Generous time off

Cons

Since most employees are competent, how likable you are becomes the differentiator (this could be a pro or a con depending on your personality) Near flat raises/bonuses at the moment A good number of in-charge Seniors aren't ready for the responsibility Since there is little to no leeway in the firms structured compensation/promotion plan it's a near guarantee that the best/brightest will at some point leave for greener pastures
