Pros

Although the firm expects you to put in long hours, the culture is ideal for a Big 4 firm, and the pay is competitive.

Cons

As noted above, the hours can tend to get long, but that is to be expected. Otherwise, I do not have anything negative to say about KPMG.

Pros

The only pro that you get when working at KPMG is that you can say you've worked at KPMG. It's good to have on a resume; THAT'S IT.

Cons

Terrible place to work. Don't work at KPMG or any Big 4. Expect to work 60+ hours, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, etc. The pay is okay considering the economy, but it's still no excuse to treat associates and seniors like crap. You won't even get a thank you for the work you do. They are very understaffed and will work you to the bone.
