      Pros

      KVC is a leader in the field of behavioral health and family reunification. They are dedicated to staff development and making sure that we have all the tools necessary to assist the families and communities we serve. I feel blessed to be working for a company that lives what it's mission states and in a such a supportive environment from all levels of administration..

      Cons

      There are too many foster kids that need homes, it is very difficult to keep up with the need.

      Pros

      KVC takes a real interest in hearing from both employees and from clients on how to improve. Co-workers and supervisors are very supportive.

      Cons

      The work is extremely hard at times, but has amazing rewards.

      Pros

      I have been working at KVC for 12 years and not only to I enjoy my job, I also love the people I work with. The staff and leadership team are great to work for, and they really do care about hearing any concerns, ideas or opinions you might have. One of the great things about KVC is the flexibility, it really helps when you have an appointment you have to go to or if you have a sick child. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else.

      Cons

      This is not unexpected but because KVC is a non- profit agency the salary is less then it would be if you worked for a large for-profit corporation.
