management plays favorites - no room for advancement

If you don't like change, you'll love this place. Everything at this company is behind the time from employee benefits to technology to the products offered to consumers. Management is slow to react and change because "this is the way we've always done it." There are very few people in the company that are proactive or have an urgency about even getting the most minute of tasks completed. In a nutshell, the ownership and long-time leadership are too consumed being impressed with themselves and their history than thinking about keeping up with the rest of the industry and changing with the times.
