Pros

The customers are a fantastic part of working at Kaplan, as seeing them succeed makes you feel good. Generally speaking, the atmosphere is pleasant, and you can have a pretty decent time.

Cons

Unfortunately, some restructuring at Kaplan in how they work their business units led to a large departure of the staff there, as well as the closing of many physical locations. This is the result of a large transition to a more online model of holding classroom sessions.

Good

Pros

Good Salary and benefits. Good working environment and remote working once a week for certain positions.

Cons

The good old boy network needs changing, but that will not happen. Executive Management that made decisions for running the business which was now being scrutinized by the regulators and they provide lame excuses and then let good people go that do the real work for the company. Execs. protect their positions with the decisions they make instead of making decisions for the better of the company. Then they are not called on lack of decision making or poor decision making. Execs make decisions by working in a vacuum and do not take into account other departments that are impacted which eventually costs the company money to fix those issues.
