Pros

If you’re truly wanting to be part of a startup to growth company, Kapost is a perfect opportunity. Great culture, great product, and really smart good people. I love the energy, the pace, and the ability to make a difference. The free company lunch and fun get togethers are a plus. Oh, and I love the dog friendly office.

Cons

It’s truly a startup, going fast. If you need all the processes and tools in place that are part of large companies, it won’t be a fit for you. If you’re okay helping to build them, you’ll likely enjoy the opportunities. Also, everyone works hard to make it all come together. If you’re self-motivated, you’ll probably love it, if you need a lot of direction, it’s not going to be your happy place.

Pros

Company Culture is great. Good location in downtown Boulder. Team members are hard working and helpful with peers - meaning there is some good team collaboration. The Tech Support team is amazing. The product team is very knowledgeable and accessible.

Cons

Overworked. The management plays favorites. The CS team Management is really really bad here. The team is asked to push priorities onto the client and tell them how to measure success when really, we should ask what the client's priorities are and work with that. I don't trust that anyone has my back (except a few colleagues). This is an awful place to work and I cannot wait to get out. Super HIGH expectations with not enough reward.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. When we make decisions, many factors come into play. One of them is the way it will impact all of our colleagues in the Customer Success and Support organization. Often, we have to make long-term business decisions that could have negative implications in the short-term. If you bear with us during our company’s time of growth and transition, we believe that our whole company will feel positive impact. I’d be happy to discuss any other feedback you may have. Please email at richard.scheig@kapost.com or our People Operations Manager, peopleops@kapost.com.

Pros

My colleagues were one of the main reasons that I stayed on the team for as long as I did. They are honestly one of the hardest working and dedicated teams that I have ever been a part of. The downtown Boulder location is also an added value.

Cons

Leadership in CS is misaligned. They have put so much process in place that doing your day-to-day job as a CSM is almost impossible. Leadership of the CS department also fails to acknowledge success evenly across the team. This has resulted in a high turnover within the department and an environment of burnout and favoritism.
