Decent benefits package. Areas only employer.

Cons

Very poor cutomer service, actual disdain for the buyer. Selling products that do not work, and will never work, because there is no one in the organization that cares if the software does what is claimed. The attitude of employees, language used, and total disregard for honesty or professionalism is apparent from a cursory tour of the facility. C-level staff sexually harrass lower level staff routinely, and if it is mentioned you are terminated. The whole place is dysfunctional and poorly run.

Pros

The best reason to work at Karmak is the people you get to work with on a daily basis. Karmak has done its due diligence when it comes to being a somewhat modern workspace in a community that tends to be behind the times. People are there to work, but with the understanding that everyone has lives that exist outside of those walls. It's nice to be in a place that recognizes that.

Cons

1) Pay could be more competitive - this comes up yearly with employee surveys. 2) Location isn't great - Carlinville has little to offer. 3) Onboarding can be slow. There's a high learning curve when it comes to figuring out what Karmak does and what it offers. Takes time for anyone new to get up to speed.

Company is getting back on track and looking toward the future. When something is wrong, they move relatively quickly to correct it. Lots of great dedicated people!

Cons

All the same negatives as with any tech company.
