Don't Trust This Company, CEO or Executive Team

Pros

Many wonderful people worked there and some are still there.

Cons

Executive team says one thing and does another. They do not care about the employee nor about the company. The C - team is asked to write the good reviews you are reading and ask their employees to do the same every time a bad review comes out. The ex team are mainly friends of the CEO who has never been a CEO before for a company of this size and many question his ability, background and what he really did in the past. He tells everyone something different. The company is not doing well overall and the rumor is that it won't be around for much longer.

The only constant is change

Pros

The only constant is change - in this case, I believe the change is going in the right direction. Change was definitely needed and I am glad that new management is stepping up and addressing important issues such as staffing, compensation, employee morale, product defects, and building strong relationships with our customers. But remember, this doesn’t happen overnight. I have seen some negative reviews and I think it is because people cannot accept change (they are stuck in their old ways) and don’t understand that in order to get better, you need to work harder. I was part of the team back when Kaseya was being led by the original owners and although it wasn't perfect - the employee morale and customer relationships were healthier. Employees would feel confident talking to anyone in the company, including the CEO and President. Why? Because they took the time to interact with their employees - regardless of what their position was. They also took the time to engage our customers - which is extremely important and why I am employed. Once the original owners sold in 2013, that new management team just royally messed it up. All they cared about was making money and they didn't realize that keeping their employees and most importantly their customers happy was key. Now, although its been a year, we are still in the process of recuperating from the previous management. We are now being led by our new CEO, Fred Voccola, and I am SO happy. I have to say, we are moving along GREAT! The executive team is so much friendlier and transparent with their employees (reminds me again of how it used to be). Also, very important - they are taking the time to reach out to our customers (via phone AND traveling around the world to meet them in person) to obtain their feedback. Then, the executives share that feedback with us (the employees) so we understand what we need to improve on AND what we are doing right. Letting employees know what they are doing right is just as important as letting them know what they are doing wrong. It gives them motivation to keep going AND to serve our customers BETTER! I have been a proud Kaseyan since day #1 and 6 years later, I still love what I do. Kaseya is great and the people I work with are amazing! There is definitely still a lot of work to do - but if we continue to work as a team with good leadership, we will definitely go far! And no, I was not asked to write this review. This review comes from my years here experiencing the good and bad, and putting in a whole lot of hard work.

Cons

If you are not up for a fast paced environment, then this is not for you. You must also be customer centric and put the customer first.

Pros

I have been working at Kaseya for a year now, and have been quite satisfied with things that matter. My review is on the Sales Profile at Kaseya Bangalore. It is quite shocking & disappointing to see some of the negative reviews on here. Every team, organization etc has a set of people who will always fail, are incapable of fulfilling their roles, or are just plain lazy. And it seems like this is one way to vent their frustrations. Kaseya - is a well known brand and an industry leader in North America. This offers an excellent opportunity for sales folks to leverage this image. Expected to work on Inbound leads! A real sales guy knows the value of inbound leads vs outbound prospecting. The product we work with is a beauty and quite simple to understand. If you love sales, this is the job for you. If you are looking for 'any' job, this may not fit your bill. You are required to perform the basic duties of calls and emails, which is quite expected. This is possibly the best paid (in terms of commission) across Bangalore. Plus the number of 'real' inside sales role is very low in the market, as opposed to doing a Business Development, or a Pre-Sales & Qualification role. You have the satisfaction of engaging a customer till he signs & gets on-board. People complain of favoritism. If you run your own company, would you like to have people who are working hard for you to ensure your success or those who sit & warm their seats all day long? I have personally had the CEO, Senior VPs and other members of the upper-level management reach out to offer assistance whenever needed. This speaks volumes about the mentality of the leadership team. A combination of all of the above has helped me flourish & succeed to be on top right from the get go. - Decent Salary Structure - Sky high, unlimited Commission - No split in salary - Freedom to work in your own style - Company & Brand Name - Unique Environment of working in a new-ish team, for a 16 year old, established company - Product is amazing - Excellent growth opportunities - International Travel for everyone!

Cons

Every organization has it's own plus' & minus'. There can be no place that satisfies everyone, or does things perfectly. That being said, there really is not too much on the negative side, except perhaps the bad eggs in the basket are held on to for too long without being dealt with an iron fist . Being a newly formed team, it takes a little time to implement new policies.
