Good place to work but not for career development.

Pros

An exciting place to work if you like computers, their networks and the challenges they face around security. The products are very good and the company invests seriously in them. The R&D teams are true experts in the field. It is a relaxed work atmosphere with a diverse and mostly young workforce. Benefits are excellent and compensation is good.

Cons

Very little attention is paid to career development and succession planning. At times it feels like only if you are a Russian you have a chance for a promotion to a global position.The HQ control on the local offices can be asphyxiating for innovation and productivity. Questioning authority is not welcome.

Pros

Was a great, fun place to be, has, like all very successful companies, changed now it's entered the big leagues. At the time I was there, a lot of glass ceilings were in place with a preference for promoting HQ staff over regional staff. A wonderful CEO, with a belief and passion for what he does.

Cons

Prefer to promote staff from HQ over regional staff. Lack of maturity in business systems to match the growth of the company and client demand. Still lacking in true enterprise scale technologies in b2b market to compete. Consumerized market space and failure to be visionary and act on key opportunities may have killed their chance.

Pros

Solid product, great potential for capturing more market share.

Cons

Company Lacks Good Management, high turnover, people get laid off without warning and for no particular reasons you literally can go to lunch come back and your coworker that was next to you that morning is gone! Too much instability and stress, everyone feels like they are walking on egg shells which will eventually hurt the company in the future.
