Pros

-The company has a strong reputation in the industry. -Innovative initiatives and offerings are notable. -Leadership consists of kind and approachable individuals.

Cons

-Competitors are surpassing the company's strengths, eroding its competitive edge. -Market expansion efforts lack adequate technical tools, hindering job performance and meeting sales targets. -Frequent layoffs and demotivating commission structures are driving skilled employees to leave, creating significant talent gaps. -Leadership struggles to address real issues due to an aversion to having difficult but necessary conversations. -Internal teams are poorly structured, leading to confusion about roles and responsibilities and delays in resolving problems or completing requests. -Tracking and CRM tools are underutilized and poorly designed, making it difficult to: +Access and log information. +Track customer opportunities across teams. +Leverage existing customer opportunities effectively. -The overall outlook on the company is declining due to these issues. Benefits/compensation: - No 401k match - No maternity/paternity leave pay - No annual pay raises - Quotas increase yearly, which in turn shrinks multipliers on commissions. - Open not unlimited PTO and leadership discourages usage.

Pros

My team and fellow colleagues.

Cons

The wages were below industry standards, and the lack of a 401(k) match was disappointing, especially when considering long-term financial planning. The health insurance offered was subpar, leaving much to be desired in terms of coverage, and there was no maternity leave, which is a basic benefit in most companies. Job security was a constant concern, with layoffs seeming to happen frequently, which created a stressful work environment. Additionally, I regularly had to deal with product and system errors, which made it challenging to do my job effectively and added to the overall stress. Overall, I can’t recommend Kastle to anyone looking for a stable and supportive workplace. The company needs to make significant improvements in both their employee benefits and the reliability of their systems.
