Pros

Some wonderful and knowledgeable people work for the district. Unfortunately, they tend to be at a different campus than the main hospital.

Cons

Although they are trying to get funding to build a new hospital, the current Mineral King Building is a joke. The standard and quality of care exhibited at KDHCD would be laughed at by a major city. The hospital is clicky and seems to hire and promote according to who they know rather than the best candidate.

I work at Kaweah Delta because I want to make a difference in the lives of my family, friends and community. Kaweah Delta 's leadership team is dedicated to its mission, vision and values and I am happy to be a part of the team. We have a lot of amazing, compassionate staff committed to caring for patients and customers as they would hope for their own family to be cared for. It takes the entire organization from housekeeping, food services, clerical departments, nursing, physicians, etc. to accomplish the very important work that happens here every day, all day.

Cons

We are a large organization of people and are not perfect. At times I think that some in the community forget that we make great things happen in this organization and touch everyone in the community some how.

Kaweah Delta stays on top of the latest technology and constantly strives to help employee better themselves and how they deliver care to their customers. Kaweah Delta has excellent salary and benefits.

Cons

Kaweah Delta is such a large employer that it is easy to get lost in the middle of 4300 employees; however, this is a problem all big companies face.
