Pros

AT Kearney has a good track record for hiring talented consultants who are generally nice to work with and easy to get along with. This is one of the strongest aspects of the firm, and it tend to have less of an internally competitive culture than a number of other large consultancy firms.

Cons

Management is not adequately appreciative of consulting staff, and senior consulting staff takes a less than active role in the mentorship and development of junior staff members in the consulting practices. Further, the management has tended to be myopic about developing a stronger brand positioning for the firm.

Pros

A.T.Kearney provides a collaborative team oriented environment. It also has a diverese and intellectually stimulating group of people. For someone who likes Operations and Supply Chain Management, A.T.Kearney is the place to be. They had lost their egde in 2007 but have bounced back incredibly well this year and are knocking it out of the park in terms of revenue. While work/life balance depends on who you are working with, most of the senior management is very supportive of maintaining a healthy work /life balance. Kearney definitely is going to be a strong contender for poaching good talent at campuses this year

Pros

Well-known brand with talented, driven people and exposure to complex, interesting work. The firm attracts smart colleagues and offers strong learning opportunities, especially early on. Processes are generally professional, and the organization values high standards and client service.

Cons

Support functions (Finance, HR, IT, etc.) face more volatility than candidates may expect. In recent years, these teams have experienced limited compensation growth, headcount reductions, and restructuring, even while workloads and expectations increased. Career progression and long-term stability in non-client-facing roles can feel less predictable compared to other parts of the firm.
