Pros

Highly entrepreneurial company with a great team. On most ranks you get a lot of freedom and the chance to interact with both partners and top level clients. Quick learning platform for both juniors as week as experienced candidates.

Cons

Be ready to travel on jobs around the globe and pull in the occasional additional work hours. It's a client comes first organization so weekends can also be working some times.

Good people to Associate. Lacks Leaders.

Pros

Many of the more junior (BA, SBA, Associate) were excellent; talented, keen and pro active. Work (like all good Management Consultancies) is interesting, challenging and requires quick learning. Good internal development programme with lots of opportunities (particularly in Europe)

Cons

Beyond Associate there is a problem. People are promoted solely on their ability to deliver not potential to manage. In addition the office is cliquey; if you are in you are well looked after and if not then you will be quickly sidelined. No genuine upward feedback that would help to highlight development areas from below for those desperate to climb the promotion ladder. The brand is not what the staff like to think it is. Much of the work is in Procurement only with the word Strategy shoe horned somewhere in the title to make people feel as though they are doing strategic work. Difficult to work in other offices unless the firm wants you to. Pay in other consulting firms (particularly bonus) is much much better. This causes them to lose talented individuals to other firms and erodes their pool of talent for promotion to Manager and beyond.
