Pros

Compensation, benefits, it's a paying job if you are desperate for one

Cons

Management- poor decisions leads to bad circumstances and the low guys on the totem pole get blamed for it. Work conditions- the expectations on employees is to be available around the clock. Communication- Inspite of such a small company, there is little to no communication.

Pros

I've had the pleasure of working for Keelson Management for over 2 years. I have worked for other great companies in the past but have never felt more welcomed or valued than when I started working at Keelson. Great benefits and paid time-off are just a bonus. The executive team and upper management really take care of their employees and show their appreciation for all the work we do as a team and as an individual. Working for Keelson gives you the opportunity to be a part of something amazing and to work along side such hard-working, goal-oriented, professional and just all around nice people.

Cons

Wouldn't consider this a con, but Keelson is a rapid pace working environment. There are constant changes and challenges that come with being the support team of a large shipping container terminal. Not your typical Monday through Friday desk job.

An Awesome Place to Work

Pros

We support one of the biggest shipping container terminals in Los Angeles/Long Beach, CA - FENIX Marine Services (FMS). It's a very fast pace working environment. We go at Ludicrous speed to get the containers on/off the vessels and out of the terminal 24/7/365. At any one time, we have 3 vessels docking. This can be a huge logistic challenge. The people are great to work with. Upper management is very support to the team and visionary that will disrupt the container terminal business.

Cons

Not a con per say, but since it's a fast pace working environment, so if you are looking for a 9-5 job, this might not be a good fit to you.
