Pros

I like the laptop, it is really fast to be fair

Cons

Every week someone is getting fired, you are nothing to upper management. And there is stress, stress everywhere.

Pros

None. Why would anyone work for, invest in, or care about the world’s fourth most popular password manager? That’s the question the co-founders have been desperately trying to answer for the last two years. And guess what… they have nothing. Keeper is run by incompetent co-founders who have zero business managing an organization larger than a few dozen people. Through sheer luck the market for password management grew enough to mask their lack of investment in people, training, technology, strategy, or any form of culture that isn’t fear driven attacks. The gravy train stopped about a year ago and sales have tanked. With that came a mass purge of management and now? Nothing. Just more screaming, more people joining and quitting two months later, and a deeper and deeper gap between goals and reality. The co-founders are attempting to pivot into a “real” cybersecurity company, not a high volume low cost password manager, but are utterly incompetent and completely spiraling out of control. The CEO maybe sleeps 4 hours a night and has random, abusive outbursts. Employees are expected to work around the clock for below market pay, horrible benefits, and an uncertain future. EVERYONE actively despises working here. Seriously. Given the way things are going I don’t expect any of us (or Keeper itself) will be here much longer. Personally I’m going to be cheering for the downfall while interviewing for my next role, because it is 100% well deserved.

Cons

Pathetic benefits Low pay Abusive leadership No middle management “New Direction” that isn’t working A “New Product” customers literally laugh at on calls Crumbling morale Co-founders who will very clearly state they don’t care about employees HR… hahahaha omg it’s a joke I assume some very serious financial troubles behind the scenes And again… why would anyone care about another junky password manager?

Our co-founders have been instrumental in driving Keeper’s success, leading with dedication and a vision for the future. Change can be challenging, but our leadership and teams are focused on building a strong culture and delivering industry-leading solutions. Our market share continues to grow steadily and we are proud to maintain strong YOY financial growth. We encourage you to open a dialogue with our HR team to provide constructive feedback.

Pros

Great Engineers and a great product. A lot of your co-workers are wonderful and I really enjoyed my time with them. The pay is pretty good (though I wasn't a big fan of the insurance).

Cons

-Your job is hanging by a thread at any given moment. As they are a private equity backed firm, if there is even a single month where growth isn't better than last month, people are immediately on the chopping block. Even if things are going well, people are sometimes fired with little to no explanation. I watched them hire and then immediately fire someone 6 days later with absolutely no explanation whatsoever (I'm very intrigued to know how he didn't match the "high standards of performance and accountability" with only six days on the job). I was placed on a PIP and explicitly given 30 days to improve with defined metrics. I was meeting or exceeding those metrics...and then fired 7 days into my 30. -Because you don't get paid commission until after Keeper gets paid, it's entirely possible for you to work your butt off for a huge deal, close it, and then if they fire you (or you quit) before Keeper gets paid (which can easily take 2 months), you don't get a dime of commission. -Because of their CSM model and the way it works, it's also entirely possible for you to work a huge deal (let's say for thousands of users), but then the customer says "never mind, I'm just going to start with 10 licenses and expand from there", and all you get comped on is the 10 licenses. You do all the work and the CSM swoops in afterwards and gets a huge payday. -They can't seem to make up their mind on certain metrics. For example, prospecting was treated as "well you don't need to do it, because we provide you with lots of leads!", and we were continuously told that "you aren't judged by quota attainment". But then if you don't have enough leads come in and your quota attainment is low? You're gone.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our product and tech teams - they are truly amazing! Keeper provides our sales team with best-in-class marketing lead generation and our commission plans follow typical industry practices for payment eligibility. Despite good intent on both sides, sometimes there is simply not a mutual fit.
