Pros
- lots of different specialized techniques from pile driving to d-walls to jet grouting to cutter soil mixing - a lot of opportunities to learn something new and/or become an expert in a certain technique - self-starters and applying yourself will get rewarded, i.e. raises and bonuses - open-door-policy throughout from Senior VP to Project Managers
Cons
- slow to get rid of underperformers which can drag down the entire team - (unpaid) overtime bery common - good employees are often overloaded with more work
