Pros

If you're a contractor, you don't actually have to deal with anyone at Kelly on your day to day. The people at your assigned site have a 100% chance of being better than Kelly employees.

Cons

Every interaction with Kelly is pulling teeth. You will need to make about 16 accounts with random services because absolutely every HR service is contracted out. You will talk to six different employees and they will give you contradicting information. You are not set up for success.

Underpaid, overworked

Pros

Good PTO to start Quarterly bonuses (depending on quarterly revenue of your business unit)

Cons

Health insurance from a cheap carrier so coverage is not great Unable to purchase PTO as of 2026 Unable to work from home Workload is unmanageable Expectations constantly change Role is constantly changing Layoffs are common Salaried, unable to be eligible for OT Required to be in office 5x a week 5 Sick days available, if you run out you have to use PTO - again with no ability to work from home.
