Pros

I absolutely love it here. I waited until I had been on the job for two months before writing the review . The starting pay is above average in my area. The hiring process was a little long and I felt completely unsure during the hiring process if I was going to offered a job. I would feel like each step went well but I just never felt confident I would make it to the next step. Once I was offered a position everyone during the onboarding process, the training coaches, mentors, team leads, help desk associates have been amazing. If you want help with something and feel you need more coaching on something - all you have to do is ask. There are so many teaching tools and classes to improve your skills. I started working two days before Hurricane Irma hit and on my third day we lost power and it was not restored for 3 days. I was worried the whole time that I would not be able to proceed because I missed too much of the training class. Not only did Kelly Connect allow me continue, they created a new class just for the people who missed any class because of the storm. I was never asked for proof that my lights were out, which is what I had expected. My team lead has been amazing. My first day she gave me her cell number and told me if I had any issue and was stuck even if she was off not to hesitate to call or text her. I can not say enough great things About this company. If you want to succeed you are given every opportunity to do so.

Cons

During the hiring process there were five weeks between the time I submitted my background information to when I got a call with a job offer. Waiting that long to hear back is awful. Especially when you really want the job and start to wonder if you are going to hear back from anyone.

Pros

The ability to work from home.

Cons

This company micro manages their employee's every move. You will be monitored via web cam in your own home by several different employees at one time. The KellyConnect Apple project is so poorly ran that most of what they are doing is at best unethical and teetering on the line of illegal. The turnover rate will make your head spin. The average advisor will quit (if they are not fired first) within two months because it is THAT unbearable. KellyConnect is so focused on keeping Apple as a client that they exploit their employees and present a very false picture of their site to Apple. They make their employees talk about how great their job is on camera and present these fabrications to Apple. Kelly cuts corners to try and exceed Enterprise metrics. Most of the Kelly site is ignorant to Apple's latest developments. You are working for Apple, yet management cannot answer the simplest of questions if they are not readily available in the knowledge based articles. If they cannot answer your question they will simply ignore it. They push this positive culture but that is the biggest facade. There is an air of tension, uncertainty, and fear. People are constantly afraid of losing their jobs and have watched so many advisors just mysteriously disappear. Management doesn't even try to hide favoritism. They say they are a performance based organization but the same handful of subpar performers seem to win the "random" drawings for Apple gift cards. But I must say those who become favorites definitely earn it, those poor fools have to bite their tongues and go along with Kelly's insanity. If you do not act like you love your job and agree with the ignorance that management spews you will get shafted in all areas. Suddenly you get the worst schedule, your team leads will be reading through you private conversations and finding any way to make your life a living hell. For a company who robs from their employees and pays $9 dollars to their people that are paid $15 for the same job if hired through Apple, Kelly certainly wastes a ton of money on team leads who have no purpose aside from spying on overworked and abused employees. The employee reviews that are 3 stars or above are not legitimate. The saddest part of all is that there are smart, talented, and over-qualified advisors being patronized, underpaid, and undervalued by these bullies. I have never been more insulted and patronized in all of my life. Until this very review, I have never even done a negative review for a company I have worked for. Please, for the sake of your health and sanity, steer clear of these degenerates. If you are desperate for work and have no other options, make sure to keep looking for work if hired because you will not last long.

Pros

Having the ability to work in the private of one's own home was a great benefit. Not having to deal with rush hour traffic on a daily basis was also a great reason.

Cons

No one knows what the right hand or left hand is doing at any given time. Promising to pay you for hours in a written email then turn around and take back what they said was horrible. I worked on this project for six months.. Yes SIX months. I can count a few hundred that did not make it based off of there needs/wants of Apple. Management is all about who you know, not what you know. You can't hide matrix in a virtual environment. Not promoting top performers is a great reason to dodge this place. I caring about your employee's is harsh. Caring about their client paying them is what they cared about. Winning an iPod after 6 solid months over those that won bigger prizes being with the company less then myself. But, like with any job it is all about who you know and not what you know. Sure there are ups and downs of every company. KellyConnect/Apple was the worst yet. Apple, Inc. orginally had the project with Volt Workforce Solutions and lost the contract to Kelly Services because Kelly bid for the contact was less of what Volt wanted. Volt started out at $14.00 as an iPhone advisor as KellyConnect starts out at $9.15 an hour with a bonus that they kept changing to keep one from making. The highest the bonus pay out is was like $68.00. This company will stick you in the face, and not the back. When the economy the way it is. Any job back in May 2010 was agreeable up until this point. When one door closes trust me another opens!!!
