Do you want to get your foot in the door somewhere

I worked at a large Auto Manufacturer for over 11 years as a Kelly employee, Yes they found me a great job,,,, hoping to get my foot in the door prove myself and perhaps get hired in. Nope! Keep in mind when you read the rest that I loved this job and the people that I worked with. However, like they say why buy the cow if you can get the milk super cheap. Well, If you want to find a good job at a big company this is a good plan... as long as you don't mind feeling like an indentured slave. Kelly pays your check, of course taking thier cut, no benefits to speak of, and no help from them at all. Also, keep in mind when you are a contract employee at a big company doing the same work as "regular" employees, be prepared to be treated like the red haired step child.
Cons
Now laid off and trying to get back in the job market after 4 years off the job, at Kelly things have changed, I found it extremely difficult to find and talk to a live person to help on the job search. Everything is done electronically and the follow up was terrible. I think all the reps that a person used to be able to call are themselves contract with the company and high turnover.
