Pros

I love subbing, I mainly work with upper grade kiddos and the teachers and students have been wonderful.

Cons

No Cons! It’s rare to find a job that just works with my values and lifestyle. Not only to I get to be on my feet all day, I get to help kids and the teachers by being someone the can trust when they need to take a day off.

Pros

Shift availability outside of your set schedule.

Cons

Penalization for tardiness (a 5-minute late login prompted an email and a note on your file). Inability to change your schedule for the first three months. 15-hour/week minimums. Mandatory unpaid 30-minute breaks. Terrible pay. ($16.50/hr) No WFH equipment providing or financial assistance. No benefits. Archaic software resulting in technical issues that fall on the employee to bear the consequences of, including write-ups, loss of wages, playing phone tag with the limited employee support they offer.
