Pros

Fantastic culture company wide with a CEO that leads by example. We have a very diverse and positive environment that makes you look forward to diving into your work everyday and there is always potential for advancement within the company. Kemper offers a wonderful benefits package which includes the ability to have a great work/life balance.

Cons

Saturday shifts are short but required twice a month. However, with proper planning using the scheduling tools provided they really don't create a damper on anything.

Pros

A positive company since the initial phone interview. Provided equipment necessary and training needed for me to do my job. My Manager’s constant communication. The values the company has. Hearing the positive comments about the company from employees and from non-employees gives me comfort in knowing that I am at the right place.

Cons

Since we are working from home and I was hired during the panademic … not being able to personally meet co-workers. Being completely paperless is a challenge- as I am old school, however I am adjusting.

Pros

Kemper cares about the well-being of their employees, both in and out of the office. The company provides good work-related resources as well as fair and generous benefits to help employees with their lives outside the office. Kemper has upward mobility opportunities and provides some reimbursement for further educational pursuits. I have experienced no unkindness from other employees and feel that it is a professional, respectful environment of individuals. They have also provided efficient work-from-home technology to accommodate those current needs.

Cons

Training could have been more thorough (though remote training is admittedly difficult given the office's closure due to COVID-19). Also, with such a large company, it can be difficult to discern where and who your resources are for certain matters.
