      Wonderful group of people - had an outstanding boss and co-workers that made most days a very positive experience. If you put your neck out there, and delivered, you were very much rewarded.

      Pros

      Very laid back environment Most people are nice They send you to training to learn new things Benefits are very nice. Pay is okay.

      I guess this goes to every company, but a few people who have been working there since their old company was absorbed by Unitrin are arrogant and rude.

      Pros

      The agents who worked in my office were always very supportive. Fronting managers are great as well. While the pay is low, there is a floor. It's not total commission

      Cons

      If a customer lapses business written years ago, you get chargeback whether you were paid commission or not. Hard work doesn't guarantee success. You also provide your own gas
